Janet Weil is an experienced General Counsel, compliance officer and executive leader with more than 25 years of experience in the direct sales industry. Janet serves as the General Counsel for the Sunrider Corporation and leads the Sunrider legal team providing legal and compliance support for the Sunrider global direct selling business, manufacturing, hotels, real estate, family office and the Chen art collection and museum. Prior to joining Sunrider, Janet served as the Associate general Counsel at Plexus Worldwide, LLC. Janet moved to Texas in 2010 to serve as General Counsel for a direct sales company after serving as General Counsel to 2 direct sales companies headquartered in in Europe and practicing corporate law in London with Baker McKenzie, LLP, Taylor Wessing, LLP and Hogan Lovells, LLP. Janet earned a bachelor’s degree in law with honors at the University of London, Queen Mary College and took solicitors final exams at the Law Society of England and Wales College of Law in London. She is admitted to practice in England and Wales and in New York in addition to being accredited as in-house counsel by the Association of Corporate Counsel.
