Rebecca M. Unruh brings extensive leadership and regulatory experience from her 15-year tenure as a top consumer protection official at the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to WilmerHale. Through June 2026, Rebecca served as Deputy Director of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection, where she oversaw consumer protection investigations, enforcement, and rulemaking across a wide swath of industries, including digital platforms, consumer and retail goods, and fintech. She previously practiced at another international law firm.
