Jared Solomon represents District 18 in the Maryland General Assembly, where he has championed legislation to protect children online and support vulnerable communities. Over eight years, he has authored nearly 60 bills that became law, focusing on education, child welfare, and government accountability.

He began his career teaching high school social studies in Baltimore City, then advised U.S. Senator Bob Casey and worked at the bipartisan children's advocacy organization First Focus. In 2024, the Biden Administration appointed him to the National Assessment Governing Board, which oversees the National Assessment of Educational Progress.
