Leanne Gabinelli serves as the Assistant Vice President, Legal - Advertising at L’Oréal, where she sits at the critical intersection of creative marketing, scientific innovation, and regulatory compliance. With over a decade of experience in the beauty and consumer goods sectors, Leanne has become a trusted partner in bridging the gap between innovative marketing and advertising integrity.

Prior to her current role at L’Oréal, Leanne held senior legal positions at Wella Company and The Estée Lauder Companies, where she served as Global Marketing Counsel. Throughout her career, she has been instrumental in reviewing global marketing campaigns across television, digital, and print, ensuring that complex scientific data and consumer studies translate into accurate, compelling brand stories.

Her deep expertise in the "truth-in-advertising" landscape was forged early in her career through pivotal roles at the Electronic Retailing Self-Regulation Program (ERSP) and the National Advertising Division (NAD) of the BBB National Programs.

Leanne earned her J.D. from New York Law School, and holds a B.S. in Communication Management & Design and Writing from Ithaca College. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her family, friends and standard poodle, Hazel.
