Founded in 1989 by Professor John Hauser of the MIT Sloan School of Management, AMS remains true to our academic roots. We specialize in providing market research, consulting and expert insight in two distinct practice areas: insights for innovation and litigation support. Our Insights for Innovation practice conducts research and training to help clients create innovative products and distinctive customer experiences in industrial, medical, financial, high tech, consumer and other markets. Working with clients all over the world, we use methods developed at the MIT Sloan School of Business—and proven in real-world practice—to deliver actionable insights that lead to increased innovation success and improvements in customer satisfaction and loyalty. Our Litigation Support practice conducts consumer surveys and provides expert witness testimony to assess consumer perceptions, behaviors and experiences for matters related to trademark and trade dress infringement, deceptive advertising, class action issues, patent infringement, claim substantiation, antitrust issues and many other types of litigation. In addition, we provide rebuttal critiques and surveys, as well as offer guidance on the deposition and trial questioning of opposing survey expert witnesses.
