Daniel Roczniak is currently, Senior Director, Responsible Care® with the American Chemistry Council in Washington, DC. During his tenure with ACC, Mr. Roczniak has assisted ACC member and Partner companies in the implementation of the Responsible Care initiative in their operations. He manages ACC’s Responsible Care third-party certification process providing implementation assistance for companies preparing for certification; serving as liaison with auditing firms and national accreditation bodies; and organizing training and workshops for ACC company personnel, auditing firm staff and individual auditors. In addition to the ACC’s certification program, Mr. Roczniak manages implementation of the ACC’s Responsible Care Codes of Management Practices and other program elements.
Mr. Roczniak has supported the establishment of Responsible Care programs in the Arabian Gulf region, Pakistan, Egypt and Kenya. He has also worked closely with the Indian Chemical Council for the past decade as it introduced a Responsible Care Security Code and took other steps to enhance its existing program. Mr. Roczniak also serves as a subject matter expert on security and Responsible Care for organizations working under the US State Department’s Chemical Security Program (CSP), which promotes chemical security management programs in Africa and Asia.
Before joining ACC in 1993, Mr. Roczniak worked for several public policy consulting firms in the Washington DC area. He is a graduate of The George Washington University in Washington DC and lives in Virginia.
