Description
The interaction between AI, advertising, and children and teens poses issues requiring special consideration by platforms, advertisers, and policymakers. Panelists from Google, Open AI, and the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation will discuss the need to balance innovation and the benefits of AI with appropriate safeguards to protect children and teens in the development and application of AI, particularly in advertising. Regulatory approaches will also be considered. This brief session will set the stage for a closer examination of brand safety, disclosures, and privacy issues in the breakout session.
