Joseph J. Conklin is Senior Vice President, Global Deputy General Counsel for Coty Inc. Coty is a leading beauty company with annual sales of roughly $5.5 Billion per year. Among many others, Coty products include fragrances manufactured under license from luxury brands such as Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Gucci, Burberry, Chloe and Hugo Boss, cosmetics sold under the Rimmel, Covergirl, Kylie Jenner, Sally Hansen and Max Factor lines and skin care products under the adidas, philosophy and Lancaster trademarks. Mr. Conklin has been with Coty for over 15 years and was previously General Counsel at Atkins Nutritionals. He manages a team with members in the US, Germany, France, the Netherlands and China that has responsibility for Coty’s worldwide trademark portfolio of over 30,000 marks and designs, the Coty patent portfolio, brand protection enforcement efforts, supply chain legal matters, litigation activities as well as certain R&D, advertising and marketing related matters.
