Katie Goldstein is a dynamic policy expert with over 15 years of dedicated experience in advancing safe and effective marketing to youth audiences. Currently serving as the Global Head of Policy and Regulatory Affairs at SuperAwesome (formerly an Epic Games company), Katie drives SuperAwesome’s mission to create a safer internet for the next generation. She oversees regulatory compliance, leads policy development, and represents SuperAwesome in industry boards, working groups, and regulatory consultations. With extensive knowledge of the international marketing and privacy landscape, Katie interprets FTC policies, privacy laws, and age-appropriate design codes. She also directs SuperAwesome’s educational program, KidAware, guiding the youth marketing industry through the complexities of compliance in the digital media ecosystem.

Before joining SuperAwesome, Katie served as advertising and privacy counsel at the Children’s Advertising Review Unit (CARU), where she crafted pivotal decisions and contributed to the Safe Harbor program, gaining profound insights into industry compliance challenges.
A sought-after industry speaker, Katie presents at conferences such as the Association of National Advertisers and CARU’s annual conference, features in podcasts by the American Marketing Association and BBB National Programs, and publishes articles in esteemed outlets like Parent Magazine and U.S. News and World Report. Katie holds a J.D. from New York Law School and a B.A. with Distinction from the University of Michigan.
